This issue has 2600 views, in that location are 148 people who need this answered, and yet there is no solution provided by Microsoft for over four months now.
I have the aforementioned issue. When I pull down notifications and tap on "Sign in to Outlook" on my Android phone, I briefly become the "Select Business relationship" screen (with no way to select anything), then a screen that appears to be logging in (which information technology tin can't practise because my countersign was inverse on the Role 365 desktop app), it fails to log in, and there are NO options anywhere in the Android app to re-enter my countersign.
If the currently stored password fails to log in, why wouldn't the mobile app ask for the user to enter it once again? It simply seems to go along trying over and over with the stored (incorrect) countersign and failing.

The Outlook App for Android Pixel worked for three years until the past ii days. I so kept getting nags to authenticate which I did both with my password and by MS Authenticater which was Canonical but to get some other nag a few seconds later. Rebooted, reset, reinstalled--no joy! Nag, nag, nag. Finally gave up and switched to Google'southward Android Post app which I wanted to avoid so they couldn't scarf up all my information. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Let me assistance y'all out a little, because no one accept followed upward on your suggestions:
1. Immigration cache, reinstalling app, deleting account, reset account - all those didn't help in any way to solve this issue.
2. Trying to change the network surround to a new ane (even new SIM that connected me to a different 4G network) didn't work as well.
three. I don't accept another Office365 account to try - only the one opened by my visitor
four. My Office365 admin didn't make any change to my account recently
v. I already reported this issue through the "in-app help" - none of their suggestions worked for me. they pretty much added one more than thing to test (canceling battery optimization for the app)
I can too confirm that other mail clients works well with my Office365 account - but I rather utilise the official Outlook app
